Online Guitar Tuner
Tune your acoustic or electric guitar right in your browser — no app to download. This free tuner uses your device's microphone to detect each string's pitch in real time and shows whether you're sharp or flat, in standard E A D G B E tuning.
How to use the tuner
Press Start tuner and allow microphone access. Pluck a single string and let it ring. The big note shows what the tuner hears; the needle shows how far off you are — slide it into the green centre. Tune from the lowest string to the highest: E (6th), A (5th), D (4th), G (3rd), B (2nd), E (1st).
For the cleanest reading, tune in a quiet room, play one string at a time, and turn off any audio playing through your speakers. Then jump back to the chords and play along.
